The Association named the 2015 Volkswagen Golf as the "Best New Small Car over $21,000," the 2015 Hyundai Sonata as the "Best New Family Car over $30,000" and the 2015 Hyundai Genesis as the "Best New Luxury Car over $50,000." As part of its mission to reduce fatalities and injuries, since model year 2001 NHTSA has included rollover information as part of its NCAP ratings. One of the primary means of assessing rollover risk is the static stability factor (SSF), a measurement of a vehicle’s resistance to rollover. The higher the SSF, the lower the rollover risk. -
