It is the first time since the 80s that work has taken place at Council’s ground floor reception area, with the refurbishment due for completion by the end of January. The development of the centralised Customer Service Centre is part of Council’s commitment to improve customer service for residents and ratepayers over the next 12 months. A number of other initiatives already delivered include development of online services and a call centre.
