CHAPTER 353

The Representation Act

L Kotwithstanding anything in any general or special Act, I\"und&ri~. the boundaries of any COUllty, territorial district, city, town, village, township or improvement district shall for the purposes of this Act be deemed to be the boundaries of such county, territorial district, city, towll, village, township or imprO\·e- mellt district as defined by statute, by-law, proclamation or other lawful authority Oll the 6th day of April, 1954. 1954, c. 84, s. 2. The Legislative Asscmbly of Ontario shall consist of mc,,,b,,,.,,"umbo. of ninety-eight members. 1954, c. 84, s. 2.

3. Ontario shall, for the purpose of representation in the8~~.$;i'''i~:'' Assembly, be divided into electoral districts as enumerated and :,{.et~1 defined in the Schedule and one member shall be returned to ••1nell the Assembly for each electoral district. 1954, c. 84, s. 3.

4. The boundaries of any electoral district as set out in Cho~I\" in the Schedule are not affected by any alteration in municipal ~~':.:~'r.'i•• boundaries made after the 6th day of April, 1954. 1954, c. 84, s. 4, amended.
