Fin 1916, un premier site est mis en œuvre aux environs de Wavrans-sur-Ternoise. Conservé pour les activités de Faisceau réparation, ce site, jugé peu adapté, est cependant rapidement supplanté par de nouvelles installations mises en service à Erin avant la fin du premier semestre 1917. En mars 1918, le « Central Workshops and Stores » d’Erin n’est toutefois plus suffisamment dimensionné. On procède donc au déplacement d’une partie de ses équipements sur un nouveau site localisé à proximité. Avant la fin du printemps 1918, 2 sites sont donc opérationnels aux environs d’Erin : ▪ Erin-Tilly : ateliers des « Central Stores » ; ▪ Erin-Teneur : ateliers des « Central Workshops ». 3 4 Mais où étaient donc situées ces installations, avec quelles modalités de desserte ferroviaire ?
