Forest fire risk is ba sed on the a na lysis of forest fire ha za rd a nd vulnera bility of the exposed elem ents. Tra nsport network risk is estim a ted a s the com bined effect of ha za rd a nd vulnera bility to disruption. The risk is cla ssified in five ca tegories (V ery Low, Low, Medium , H igh, V ery H igh). The m a p a lso shows the first response infra structure a nd m itiga tion m ea sures. The estim a ted geom etric a ccura cy of the im a ges is 1.25 m , from na tive positiona l a ccura cy of the ba ckground sa tellite im a ge, com plia nt with J R C requirem ents for the present sca le ca rtogra phy. The estim a ted them a tic a ccura cy of this product is 85% or better, ba sed on interna l va lida tion procedures a nd visua l interpreta tion of recogniza ble item s on very high resolution optica l im a gery. The sta tistica l ta ble included in the m a p shows the popula tion, a ssets roa d segm ents a t va rious risk levels.
