CHILDREN’S DIVISION PETITE PAS DE DEUX 2020-2021

PPD Requirements: Children’s Division students are placed in levels by age, and Petite Pas de Deux (PPD) is for students ages 2-3 years old by September 1, 2020. Students should enroll in one 30-minute class per week and be accompanied by an adult during class. All PPD classes this year will be held online. Petite Pas de Deux (or “little dance for two”) is designed for students to interact with a parent or caretaker who is an active participant in the class.

Class Locations: All virtual classes will be hosted on Zoom, with private links sent each week via Remind.

PETITE PAS DE DEUX CLASS OFFERINGS

All Children’s Division classes begin the week of October 5th and conclude in late May.

Virtual Class Offerings: Tuesday 5:30 – 6:00 pm Wednesday 9:00 – 9:30 am Saturday 9:00 – 9:30 am

Please note: The Academy will continue to monitor throughout the season for opportunities to add in- person classes should precautions be lifted. Students enrolled in virtual classes will receive priority registration options.

CLASS UNIFORM

Ladies: Leotard: Solid color ballet leotard Tights: Ballet tights in pink or skin tone Ballet Slippers: Leather or canvas slippers with elastic in ballet pink or to match tights

Gentlemen: Shirt/Leotard: Short sleeve white leotard or close-fitting white t-shirt Tights: Black tights or leggings Socks: White Ballet Shoes: White leather or canvas slippers with elastic

Parents: Attire you can comfortably move in from a seated or standing position.
