My name is Rob Kirk, throughout my working life I have been employed in many 22°C establishments within the food and drink sector acquiring skills in various roles. I concentrated mainly on deserts as this is what I am most passionate about. I have been at another of Cheshire’s top golf clubs for five years and am now joining Kieran to help out in the kitchen. ART EXHIBITION AT HELSBY

And now for something different at Helsby Golf Club ! ….. Weather in Chester - England We were delighted to hold our 3rd annual art exhibition in our Clubhouse recently during the weekend of 14/15 November. There were around 50 art 22°C works on show including, watercolours, oils, ceramics, drawings and sketches and they showed off the remarkable talents of golfers at our club Cloudy and their families! Humidity is 87% Wind is South-southeast 5 The exhibition was very well attended and many players and visitors took m/s time to appreciate the talents on show. As a result of the great success, next Visibility is 19 km year’s exhibition has already been planned and it will be held from 27th – Pressure is 0 mbar 30th October 2016 and there will also be a Cheese and Wine evening on Saturday 29th October so put the date in your diary now!

TROPHY SUCCESS FOR HELSBY GENTS!

TROPHY SUCCESS FOR HELSBY GOLF CLUB Weather in A team of fourteen golfers from Helsby won the prestigious Manchester Chester - England District Golf Alliance (MDGA) City Glass Mens Foursomes competition when they beat Sale Golf Club by 4 1/2 to 2 1/2 in a tense final played at 22°C Blackburn Golf Club on Sunday 4th October. Cloudy It all hinged on a crucial match which was won on the 2nd extra hole by Humidity is 87% Jamie Hodgkinson and Chris Stott, and was reminiscent of the final day of Wind is South-southeast 5 the Ryder Cup, with other team members plus spectators and officials m/s following on the fairway and surrounding the green. Helsby had won six rounds in the competition starting in April with over 100 teams from the Alliance entering.

Team Captain Brian Stott said he was proud of the team, the camaraderie and support for each other and how he hoped they had put Helsby on the golfing map. As winners Helsby GC will have the pleasure of hosting the 2016 final.

The ladies at Helsby were delighted to welcome their guests from other clubs to the annual Ladies invitation day on Sunday Weather in 30 August 2015. All enjoyed good weather and there were numerous compliments about the condition of the course and the Chester - England catering and hospitality in the clubhouse, so many thanks to Danny and the greens team, Dave and the catering team and Giselle and the bar team – great Helsby teamwork all round! 22°C

The day itself was superbly organised by Barbara Leigh and Lynn Howse so many thanks on behalf of everyone ladies. The Invitational was established by Cloudy Ian in 2006 and is played annuallly. CAPTAINS’ DRIVE-IN – 14th Feb

The Captains’ Drive-in took place on 14th February 2015. Weather in Chester - England We recently welcomed our new Captains at the traditional “Captains Drive In” and thankfully good tee shots were in evidence by the new Captain Colin 24°C Ford, the new Lady Captain Marjorie Trow, Junior Captain Charlie Fletcher and returning President Ken Woodward. Cloudy The Drive In marks the start of the year in office for our new Captains and Humidity is 87% they were all very appreciative of the support shown to them.
