Šta je Crkva i koja su njena svojstva? Ko je produžio propoved i delo Svetih Apostola u svetu? Crkva je sveobuhvatna Tajna sveta i života. Po recima sv. Produžili su njihovi naslednici: Episkopi, prezviteri (sveštenici) i Grigorija Nisijskog, vec je stvaranje sveta bio tajanstveni dakoni. Gde god su osnivali nove crkvene Zajednice, Apostoli pocetak stvaranja Crkve; dejstvom i prisustvom u njemu su rukopolagali Episkope za svoje naslednike, a ovi docnije za vecnog Slova (Smisla) Božijeg. To dejstvo i prisustvo još je pomocnike sebi prezvitere i dakone. Njegovim ovaplocenjem i kroz to neprekidno naslede, apostolsko prejemstvo produžava celokupnim bogocovecanskim delom konacno je do danas, i produžavace se do svršetka veka. Sveštenstvo oblikovana i utemeljena Crkva Božija. Ona je njegovo Telo propoveda, cuva pravoslavnu veru i vrši Svete Tajne; bez a on njena vecna Glava. Posle tog manastira, na Svetoj Gori je niklo još dvadeset velikih manastira, medu kojima pored grckih postoje i gruzijski, ruski, srpski, bugarski i rumunski manastiri. U njima su se podvizavali ljudi raznih narodnosti, od kojih su mnogi docnije postajali Apostoli I prosvetitelji svojih naroda (Prepodobni Georgije i Jovan osnivaci Iverskog manastira - Gruzina, Antonije i Teodosije Pecerski Rusa, Sveti Simeon i Sava - Srba, prepodobni Nikodim Tismanski - Rumuna, u novije vreme ravnoapostolni Kosma Etolski - Grka itd.).
