Rogaine Equipment Checklist

WHAT TO TAKE IN YOUR PACK WHILE WHAT TO HAVE IN BUS/CAR AT THE END OF THE ROGAINE

Compulsory items - covered in clear contact or in a plastic bag Plate, cup, knife, fork and spoon for use at Hash House Camp stool or small mat. Remember, the ground is very cold! Change of warm clothes Pencil Towel & soap Full water bottles – 2 are recommended Food/snacks –for the trip to and from the Rogaine Thermal top or woollen jumper Waterproof jacket First aid kit with VRA instructions – minimum one per team Watch - minimum one per team Rogaining Tips

Other recommended items Drink water regularly throughout the Rogaine Day pack Drinking water before during and after the event is essential to maintain Sunscreen hydration. Lunch Nibbles - eg chocolate, nuts or fruit, bananas, oranges etc.. If you only drink when you are thirsty, you are not maintaining a Sun Hat or Beanie, depending on weather satisfactory level of water intake and are at risk of dehydration. Keep warm Optional items Gloves You will often get cold after finishing a Rogaine. You should have plenty of Toilet paper spare clothing ready if needed. Waterproof over-pants The hash House Mobile Phone A free meal is provided at the end of the Rogaine at the Hash House. This is cooked for all competitors by volunteers. It usually includes soup, WHAT TO WEAR hamburgers, sausages, veggie burgers, cheese toasties, dessert, cake and fruit. You’ll need your plate, cup and cutlery for this. Avoid wearing cotton as this will quickly get wet and cold. We suggest: First Aid Kit

Each team must carry a First Aid kit containing: Thermal shirt, preferably long sleeves Long pants are advised, but not jeans. • 1 linear compression bandage, • 1 linear conforming bandage, If wearing shorts wear • 1 triangular bandage, • 1 roll elastoplast, /light hiking boots, but avoid new shoes /boots • Pair tweezers • BandAids, Hat, either sun hat or beanie depending on weather • antiseptic cream, • VRA First Aid instruction sheet. Thermal or woollen jumper – compulsory First aid kits can be purchased from the Admin tent if necessary. Cost $10. Watch
