Helpful Tips Cleaning your Device

Apple discourages the use of certain cleaning products on an iPad screen because ! Find out what is taking up the most space of an increased risk of damage. For users looking to clean the device, chemical ! Restoring deleted apps from App Store solvents and household cleaners should be avoided to prevent damage. Don’t Use: ! Taking a Screen Shot • window cleaners ! Folders • household cleaners ! Saving webpage to home screen • aerosol sprays My Preference: • solvents ! Spotlight search • alcohol Use an alcohol ! Siri to launch apps • ammonia free hand sanitizer ! Save/copy images from Safari • abrasive substances ! Air Print Additionally, users should not use coarse cloths to wipe off an iPad screen. Instead, it ! Restrictions - disable in-app purchases is recommended that the screen be cleaned with a soft, lint free cloth.

Therapy Line Up/ Multitasking Visual Schedule

! Multitasking tray is essentially a recent app history record. If First Then Last you open an app, it becomes the first app in the tray, etc.

! Double click home button, or 4 finger swipe up to reveal the multitasking tray. Swipe right to left to reveal all apps in the tray.

! This does not mean that all of these apps are running

! Swipe up on the app tile to manually terminate the app.

Guided Access helps people with autism or other attention and sensory challenges stay focused Guided Access on the task (or app) at hand. With Guided Access, a parent, teacher, or therapist can limit an iOS device to stay on one app by disabling the Home button, and !
