“Mahie is very talented, professional and hard-working. As a person, she is very easy-going, down-to-earth and has no starry tantrums. She worked with me in ‘Dabangg’, and in ‘Dabangg 2’, though we needed her for a very small sequence, she happily obliged. I saw her in ‘Dev D’ and found her stunning. I knew instantly that she was not an actor who would fi t into mainstream cinema. And she’s not vying for conventional roles either. Directors would love to cast her in meaningful roles.
