Farm activity day A great opportunity for you and your family to enjoy a day on the farm! Bring a picnic and please enter via Browells Lane entrance. There will be lots of fresh vegetables to take home!

Plogging is a mixture of walking and running or jogging whilst picking up rubbish at the same time. We are delighted to be holding our next plogging event at : Donkey Wood, Sun, 20 October 2019 10:30 – 12:30 About this Event We will have two routes available so anyone, no matter fitness level, can take part and help clean up the local community.There will be a 2k walking route which is great for those who want a gentle walk and those with young families. We will also have a 5k running version, again at a very steady pace. All equipment will be provided including a free Plogolution t-shirt! For children 7+ years Morning Show 11:30pm – 12:15pm Afternoon Show 1:30pm – 2:15pm Trunk, Tail, Ears or Wings? Carnival creates itself from all sorts of things! This is "Carnival of the Animals" but not as we know it. We take inspiration from the music by Camille Saint-Saëns, a little help from Charles Darwin and a whole lot of cardboard to mash up a show full of puppet possibility! A family workshop led by artist Aysha Khan to create Rangoli inspired light up paper flowers. Children and parents/carers will create one they may take home and one which will go on public display as part of a community light installation at Park and Museum’s Diwali event on Saturday 26th October.
