MEDIA RELEASE

The scheduled meeting of the Audiovisual Media Authority (AMA) was held on Wednesday, 31 January 2018, with the participation of the following members:

Upon discussing the issues in the agenda, AMA decided as follows:

1. To update the service provision area of some subjects authorized to relay third party audiovisual programing services supported by cable network. (Decision No. 1, dated 31.01.2018); 2. To approve ownership structure changes for the “Multiscreen” sh.p.k Company, to replace the subject license with an audiovisual programing service license in the regions of Korça and , and to renew the license for analog broadcasting by the “Report TV” private audiovisual subject in the areas where analog broadcasting still continues. (Decision No. 2, dated 31.01.2018); 3. To renew the “Vintage Radio” sh.p.k Company license related to the private local audio subject ‘Vintage Radio 105.7’ (Decision No. 3, dated 31.01.2018) 4. To renew the “4 Plus Media Group” sh.p.k license related to the private local audio subject ‘Radio 4+’. (Decision No. 4, dated 31.01.2018) 5. To approve changes to the ownership structure of the “Dynamics Sound” sh.p.k Company, and to renew the license for the private local audio “Kiss FM” subject. (Decision No. 5, dated 31.01.2018); 6. To narrow the licensing area of the “Focus Media News” sh.p.k Company and to renew the license of the “Radio Rash” private local audio subject. (Decision No. 6, dated 31.01.2018); 7. To renew the license of the “Radio RFI” relay audio subject. (Decision No. 7, dated 31.01.2018); 8. To renew the “CRI Radio e Jashtme e Kinës” relay audio subject and to change technical broadcasting specifications. (Decision No. 8, dated 31.01.2018); 9. To renew the license of the “Radio BBC” relay audio subject and to transfer representation rights of this subject to the Albanian Radio and Television (Public Broadcaster). (Decision No. 9, dated 31.01.2018); 10. To widen the service provision area for the “ABcom” sh.p.k Company, authorized to provide audiovisual programming services supported by the “3N1 TV” cable network and to relay third party audiovisual programming services supported by the “ABCOM”.

To reject renewal of the “Channel 1” sh.p.k Company license related to the private local audio subject “Radio Idea”. (Decision No. 14, dated 31.01.2018); 15. To find the authorization issued to natural person Shkëlqim Bylykbashi to relay third party audiovisual programing services supported by the “Tv Arbër” cable network, invalid. (Decision No. 15, dated 31.01.2018) 16. To find the authorization issued to natural person Taulant Kurti to relay third party audiovisual programing services supported by the “Tv Kabllor Shalës” cable network, invalid. (Decision No. 16, dated 31.01.2018); 17. To find the authorization issued to natural person Edmond Zane to relay third party audiovisual programing services supported by the “Tv Kabllor M.O.D” cable network, invalid. (Decision No. 17, dated 31.01.2018); 18. To transfer authorization rights of natural person Ferdi Bejko to relay of third party audiovisual programming services supported by the “Tv kabllor Manastiri” cable network to natural person Shaban Merkaj, authorized to provide relay of third party audiovisual programming services supported by the “Tv Kabllor Arten” cable network. To transfer authorization rights of natural person Gentian Ferhati to provide online audiovisual programing services at “Tv Wedding Channel” to the “Gentian Ferhati” sh.p.k Company. (Decision No. 19, dated 31.01.2018); 20. To accept the administrative complaint and revoke Citation No. 92, dated 14.12.2017 in the amount of ALL 120,000 against the “Nisatel” sh.p.k Company, authorized to relay audiovisual programming services over the internet “Nisatel” (OTT) (Decision No. 20, dated 31.01.2018); 21. To reject the administrative complaint and to uphold Citation No. 95, dated 19.12.2017, in the amount of ALL 120,000, against the “Bleta” sh.p.k Company, authorized to relay of third party audiovisual programming services on the internet “Bleta” (IPTV). (Decision No. 21, dated 31.01.2018); 22. To reject the administrative complaint and uphold Citation No. 96, dated 19.12.2017, in the amount of ALL 120,000, against “TV kabllor Vlora Cable” sh.p.k Company, authorized to relay third party audiovisual programming services supported by the “TV Kabllor Vlora Cable” cable network. (Decision No. 22, dated 31.01.2018); 23. To accept the administrative complaint and revoke Citation No. 91, dated 01.12.2017, in the amount of ALL 1,000,000, issued by the Inspection Group against natural person Elion Boriçi, authorized in relation to the “Tv me kabëll Brado” subject. (Decision No. 23, dated 31.01.2018); 24. To accept the administrative complaint and to revoke Citation No. 97, dated 19.12.2017, in the amount of ALL 1,000,000, issued by the Inspection Group against natural Person Agron

(Decision No. 24, dated 31.01.2018); 25. To execute Decision No. 4831 (80-2017-4905) of the Tirana First Instance Administrative Court, thus deciding to authorize the “Cable Net” sh.p.k Company to relay third party audiovisual programing services supported by a cable network in the Region of Elbasan, the Municipality of Lezha and the Administrative Unit. (Decision No. 25, dated 31.01.2018);

During this meeting AMA agreed to postpone the “Club Muzikor” sh.a Company application for the “Club FM Radio” private national audio license to the next scheduled meeting.
