Play will be 90% (men) and 95% (women) of the course handicap. Men will play from the WHITE tees and women will play from the GREEN tees. Course handicaps for women will be adjusted accordingly. HANDICAPS: April 1, 2018 indexes will be used to compute handicaps. Maximum course handicaps: Men=36, Women=40. SCORING: The better ball of the team will be determined on each hole and scored using the following stableford point schedule: Double Bogey or higher=-1 pt, Bogey=0 pts., Par=1 pt., Birdie=3 pts., Eagle=5 pts. and Double Eagle=8 pts. FLIGHTS: The field will be flighted by team handicaps. Size and number of flights will be determined by the total number of team entries. SKIN GAME: Individual net skin games will be conducted in conjunction the team best ball competition. A $5.00 entry (optional) will be collected at registration. The skin game field will be divided into two (2) flights: Flight 1=0-18 handicaps, Flight 2=19-36 handicaps. Maximum handicap for inividual net skin games is 36. 100% of course handicaps will be used to determine skin game winners. Course handicaps for women will be adjusted accordingly. ELIGIBILITY: 2018 Super Mini Rewards Platinum participants and their invited guest(s) with an established USGA index as of April 1, 2018. AWARDS: Awards presented to overall low gross team, overall low net team, team flight winners (net), closest to the pin, longest drive and skin games. COST: $69.00 per person: includes golf with cart, practice balls, breakfast burrito, awards luncheon, specialty contests and tournament awards. ENTRIES: All paid entries must be received by the deadline of Thursday, April 5, 2018 to be eligible. Field is limited to the first 50 paid team entries received (100 players). All entries received will be accepted unless notified otherwise. You may call to confirm your entry and/or pairing on or after Friday, April 6, 2018. Cancellations after April 6, 2018 wil receive a gift certificate valid for merchandise only. NCGA SENIOR (Optional) Both players must have reached their 55th birthday on or before August 8, 2018. Both team members must be enrolled in the QUALIFYING: same NCGA Associate Club (Laguna Seca) and have established USGA indexes to be eligible. The top three (3) 2-person teams from the Club (Laguna Seca) will advance to the NCGA Sectional Qualifying Site(s) on August 8, 2018. Championship site Poppy Ridge GC September 10-11, 2018. A current handicap index listed on the Club’s master report not to exceed 36.4 (men) or 40.4 (women). Play will be 90% (men) and 95% (women) of the course handicap (qualifying site) using a maximum current index of 18.4 for calculation. All players with indexes of 18.5 and above are eligible but must play to a maximum current index of 18.4.
