RULES The competition: Gross/ Net Stableford points Play Winter Rules - White . If a question about a rule arises, play a second ball per Rule 3.3. Questions about the rules will be settled by the professional on duty or if there is none available, the committee. Individual score cards have been provided. strokes on each hole are indicated by dots. Insert the player’s gross and net score on each hole in the space provided. Below that, the gross and net Stableford point score (see sample scorecard below). Stableford Points Double Bogey or above 0 Points Bogey 1 point 2 points Birdie 3 points Eagle 4 points Double Eagle 5 points

Note in this sample, Player Orv Hacker, a 17 handicapper bogied the first hole, his net on the hole is a par. He gets 1 Stableford point for his gross bogie, but gets 2 for a net par. However on # 3 he gets no points because his best score is a triple bogie gross score and a double bogie net, neither of which is awarded any points.

Slow play rules will be in effect for this tournament

Upon completion of your round, please sign your score card and have it attested by a playing partner before turning it into the committee. Even though this is a Stableford event, individual scores will still be posted by the committee. If you pick up, see below for how to proceed. Section 4-1 of the USGA Handicap System Manual states: "If a player starts but does not complete a hole or is conceded a stroke, he shall record for handicap purposes the score he most likely would have made. The most likely score consists of the number of strokes already taken, plus, in his best judgment, the number of strokes that the player would need to complete the hole from that position more than half the time." Do not post your score in the GHIN computer. Scores will be posted by the committee.
