The Platense classic: ‘Estudiantes’ vs. ‘Gimnasia y Esgrima’
Certainly, football in Argentina is a passion that moves crowds and it attracts the attention of many people. Our city, La Plata, didn’t stay away from this sport, and, from the beginning, practically all the platenses became football fans. Football in La Plata was born in 1901, when ‘Gimnasia y Esgrima Club’ was founded. After that many football clubs were founded in the city, and played “amateur” football. In 1905 a group of students from the University of La Plata founded ‘Estudiantes Club’. Since then, ‘Gimnasia’ and ‘Estudiantes’ are the most important football clubs in La Plata, and they have always competed to be the best. However, the beginning of the matches between them didn’t start until 1916, because ‘Estudiantes’ had ascended to the first division in 1911, but ‘Gimnasia y Esgrima’ did it four years later. The first match in the new category was played in 57 and 1 street, where the stadium of ‘Estudiantes’ is, and for the first time people had to pay a ticket to enter. This first football match was won by ‘Gimnasia y Esgrima’. Nowadays, ‘Estudiantes’ Won 49 matches against ‘Gimnasia y ‘Esgrima’, and they won 44 matches against ‘Estudiantes’.

Abortion, what do you think?
I think that abortion must be legal, but with some limits, for example, not all the women can do it because that would be a real disaster. Only special cases or situations should be considered, for example in the case of women who have been victims of rape. I think that if abortion is legal, this would be safer, because doctors would learn to do it, and lots of deaths could be avoided. The legalization of abortion would help women a lot. They have a right to decide about their bodies and, not less important, they have a right to decide about their lives.

BETTY BOOP
Betty Boop made her first appearance on August 9 , 1930 in the cartoon Dizzy Dishes . The character of this curious vamp of the ``cartoon´´ was born in a totally spontaneous way as we know her nowadays, since in the beginning his creator Grim Natwick, took inspiration for Betty's spit curls from a song sheet of Helen Kane, commonly called the "Boop Oop a Doop Girl". Natwick had designed the history on two dogs and his adventures. But one of them evolved and gave form to Betty Boop as we know her nowadays. Another character stayed as it was drawn by the first time. His name, Bimbo, the little dog in love with Betty. Other regular co-stars included Ko-Ko the clown. His counsellor, Max Fleisher, considered it (Betty) to be an explosive mixture between innocence and ``sex symbol´´, that constituted one of the most important chapters of the history of the cartoon, Betty was the first one of the feminine prominent figures, with curves and prominent neckline. In 1932 the character transformed in a complete way, she changed from being a little dog to turning into the stylized silhouette that we kwon. His ears turned into his earrings. And her little body turned into a beautiful and sexy woman. She always said something like `` Boop-Oop-A-Doop´´. The other anecdotes that put Betty into the aye of the hurricane, was the period of war between the USA and Japan in the forties, when the north American military men received Betty as heroine, accompanying them across the comical strips and the movies that were projected in the barracks. Because of it, in some occasion one have labelled her like the ``Girlfriend of America´´.

Playing music
I like playing the guitar, that is why I know how difficult it is to make a song. When you're a musician, you enjoy other bands or singers more than common people, but you also realise when someone gets wrong. Making music is really relaxing because one can disperse their ideas as you play any song. Many people study music for many years, However, I personally learned by watching my father and repeating what I saw while he was playing his guitar. As a result, I formed a rock band with some friends. We started to play in some parties and some pubs. The feeling that one has on stage is really spectacular because you see al the people screaming and applauding and it always makes you feel happy. We're four in our group, I play the guitar, Nelson plays the bass, Mariano plays the drums, Federico "Kenny" plays the keyboard and finally, Federico "Elmu" plays the first guitar. Many young people prefer to play some sport or to do some excercise but I love playing the guitar. I think it's wonderful.

Coca-Cola is enjoyed all over the world.
1.6 billions gallons are sold every year, in over one hundred and sixty countries. The drink was invented by Doctor John Pemberton in Atlanta as a healthy drink on 8 May 1886, but it was given the name Coca-Cola by suggestion of Pemberton’s bookkeeper, Frank Robinson. Coca Cola is named for two medicinal ingredients, Coca (Erythoxylon), a blackthorn bush plant, and kola nuts (from Nitida or vera) which have high caffeine content and were originally used to make Coca Cola soft drink. Of course nowadays, this flavour is more artificialized. In the first year only nine drinks a day were sold. The business was bought by a man called Asa Candler in 1888, and the first factory was opened in Dallas, Texas, in 1895. Coca-Cola is still made there. Billions of bottles and cans have been produced since 1895, but the recipe is still kept secret. Diet Coke has been made since 1982, and over the years many clever advertisements have been used to sell the product. It is certain that Coca-Cola will be drunk for many years to come.
