2 Day of Giving May 27, 2021 To Give: wnit.org/dayofgiving

PBS MICHIANA - WNIT is excited to announce that on Thursday, May 27, 2021 we will celebrate our fourth annual Day of Giving, a chance for our donors to celebrate our mission, support the increased need as we respond to provide additional educational resources to support at-home learning, and collectively look forward as we continue to work through the COVID crisis together. Thanks to generous challenge funds totaling over $28,500 from the Jack and Shirley Appleton Estate, Bill and Lorrie Schmuhl, Thomas and Anita Veldman, and other “Friends of WNIT,” we are able to offer an opportunity to increase your donations in supporting our mission. All dollars raised will be matched up to $28,500 during WNIT Day of Giving. By joining us for this special opportunity, you will help us reach our challenge goal and have your donation doubled! On May 27th, starting at midnight and for the next 24 hours, go to www.wnit.org/dayofgiving and use your credit or debit card to donate to WNIT to help us surpass this $28,500 challenge. Checks, gifts of stock or securities and other forms of donation may be made up to May 27th by contacting Steve at 574-675-9648 x341 or sfunk@wnit. org. Thank you for helping WNIT to inspire, educate and unify the people and communities we serve.

25 ProductionNews Us on Masterpiece Coming to PBS Michiana-WNIT in June

Paris, Venice and Barcelona are on the itinerary when a married couple on the verge of breakup take a European vacation with their rebellious teenage son. Tom Hollander (Baptiste) and Saskia Reeves (Roadkill) star as Douglas and Connie, a hopelessly mismatched husband and wife, with Tom Taylor (The Dark Tower) as Albie, their moody offspring. Adapted from David Nicholls’ Booker Prize–nominated novel, Us airs in two two- hour episodes on Masterpiece, Sundays, June 20 and 27 at 9/8c on PBS Michiana-WNIT.

The story opens in suburban Britain, with Douglas and Connie twenty New PBS Kids Series, Donkey Hodie years into their marriage. Meanwhile, she is an artist with her to Premiere on PBS Michiana – WNIT right brain firing on all cylinders—visual, creative, unconventional. Out of the blue one night, she wakes up Douglas to announce, “I’ve been Donkey Hodie, a whimsical new PBS Kids puppet series produced by thinking about leaving. The contentious incidents abroad are interspersed with flashbacks to happier Set in the whimsical land of Someplace Else, created by Rogers on Mister days, showing how Douglas and Connie met and fell in love, despite their Rogers' Neighborhood, the imaginative social-emotional series for children differences. ages 3-5 centers on the adventures of Donkey Hodie, an enthusiastic, “can-do” yellow donkey with a bright magenta mane, and her pals: Purple Panda, her loyal and empathetic best friend who wears his big heart on his sleeve; Duck Duck, a practical, quick-witted young mallard who loves to figure things out; and Bob Dog, an energetic and eager canine who is always ready to boogie to music or fetch a ball. In Someplace Else, everyone’s big dreams are possible—whether it’s Purple Panda finding the end of the Golden Rainbow, Duck Duck planning a Book-A-Palooza Festival or Bob Dog playing the largest kickball game in history.
