And what better way to welcome this festive season that with good music and delectable cuisine, courtesy of NJTV’s finest holiday programming specials! First, take a trip back in time to 1970s London with Sinatra in Concert at Royal Festival Hall T(Sunday, December 2 at 8pm), where viewers watch HSH Princess Grace of Monaco introduce her former co-star in a concert filled with classics such as “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” “My Kind Of Town,” and “My Way.” You may know the story of the Maccabees, but do you know how the Festival of Lights evolved from a small holiday within Judaism to one of major prominence in American Jewish life? Hanukkah: A Festival of DeLights (Sunday, December 2 at 9:30pm) explores this unique holiday’s historical background that connects generations of Jewish families. COURTESY OF WGBH Against a backdrop of crackling log fires, Nigella: At My Table — Nigella’s Christmas Table (Saturday, December 1 at 8pm) shares tips for relaxed entertaining, as journalist and gourmet food writer Nigella Lawson brings mouth-watering festive flavors to viewers for a cozy Christmas in the countryside. Hoping for a stress-free gathering this holiday season? The gang at America’s Test Kitchen share their tips and tricks in a behind-the-scenes Home for the Holidays episode, revealing their all-time favorite holiday recipes and personal holiday memories (Saturday, December 8 at 8pm).
