IDC OPINION This study leverages the IDC MarketScape framework to evaluate the leading regional and global telecommunications SPs in Asia/Pacific (AP). The primary focus of this study is to assess SPs' capabilities to meet the telecommunication and ICT needs of various customer segments. IDC identified the top 11 providers by scale and scope of operations in terms of strong regional network presence, suite of managed services offerings in the region, and large base of midsize and large-sized enterprises, multinational corporations (MNCs), and government clients across AP. The evaluation framework consists of a large variety of parameters, such as comprehensiveness of service offerings, datacenter and cloud capabilities, go-to-market strategy, growth strategy, partner ecosystem, and innovation strategy. There are several key differentiators among the telecommunications firms assessed that IDC noted for success in this market and of which buyers should be aware. A Comprehensive Portfolio of Software-Defined Networking and Virtual Network Services As traditional network offerings become table stakes, Communication SPs are increasingly using software-defined networking (SDN) to differentiate themselves. The benefits of SDN in the datacenter are well known; however, the expansion of SDN into disparate and often chaotic access networks has also become prevalent now.

PRESS RELEASE - 19 May 2021 LAPG announces Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year awards 2021 finalists A housing barrister who is playing a leading role in challenging 'No DSS' landlords; and a solicitor who defended the parents of 'Jihadi Jack' Letts, have been honoured by this year's LALY awards judges. The pair are among 26 individuals and nine organisations chosen as finalists in the Legal Aid Practitioners Group 2021 Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year awards. 2021 sees the introduction of a new Disability Rights award: finalists selected for this inaugural award are: Amy Butler, Atkins & Palmer; Kate Jackson, MJC Law; and Kirsty Stuart, Irwin Mitchell. • Written Evidence from Stephen Davies About Me I Am a Criminal Defence
Written evidence from Stephen Davies About me I am a Criminal Defence Solicitor at Tuckers Solicitors LLP, London. I am working class, and originally from South Shields, Tyne and Wear. I specialise in criminal law, procedure, legal aid, policy and access to justice. I am a member of The Law Society of England and Wales, Junior Lawyer Division of the Law Society, Criminal Law Solicitors’ Association, London Criminal Courts Solicitors' Association, Solicitors' Association of Higher Court Advocates and Young Legal Aid Lawyers. My written evidence is a combination of my opinion, experience and research, however it does not necessarily reflect the views of my firm, a political party, or any other organisation. All errors are mine, and I am very much amenable to being corrected. At the very least, I hope my evidence is a positive contribution to what I believe is a fundamentally important issue in respect of access to justice, and a civilised democratic society. I graduated with an LL.B Bachelor of Laws Degree in 2014, an LL.M Master of Laws Degree in Criminal Law and Procedure in 2015, and an LL.M Master of Laws Degree in Legal Practice (LPC) in 2017. As part of the latter, I submitted a thesis towards my degree whereby I analysed criminal legal aid and access to justice in England and Wales.1 I received student finance for my LL.B, however I self-funded both of my masters. I estimate the cost of legal education to be somewhere in the region of £50,000+. What I would say is that I would not be where I am today without the continued financial support from my parents and sister.
