Credentials of representatives Delegates are reminded that in accordance with the provisional rules of procedure of the Conference (A/CONF.219/2), the credentials of representatives and the names of alternate representatives and advisers shall be submitted to the Secretary-General of the Conference, Under-Secretary-General and High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States. Delegates are accordingly requested to submit their credentials to the Office of Legal Affairs of the Conference (Barbaros, Room 3), which is situated on the lower level of the Conference premises.

Circulation of written statements Delegations wishing to have their statements distributed to the meeting participants are requested to deliver 350 copies to the meetings services assistants located at the documents distribution counter outside Anadolu Auditorium prior to the start of the meeting at which the statement is being delivered. Delegations who wish to have written statements distributed to the media are requested to deliver 300 copies to the media documents counter located in the basement of Rumeli Hall. Participants are reminded that the Secretariat will not be in a position to offer reproduction services for such texts. Delegations that wish to have statements posted on the Internet are requested to provide, in advance, an electronic copy of their statement, in any of the official languages, on CD-ROM to the United Nations webcast room located in the basement of Rumeli Hall or by e-mail ([email protected]). 8 Journal of the United Nations Istanbul Journal No. 2

Distribution of official documents The official documentation of the Conference will be issued in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish. The main documents counter for delegations will be located outside Anadolu Auditorium. Each delegation will be assigned an individual box in which copies of all official documents issued during the Conference will be placed. Delegations are reminded that the document boxes are exclusively for the distribution of official documents of the Conference and may not be used for circulation of any other papers or documents. For the convenience of participants, a documents counter will also be located at the entrance of Rumeli Hall.

Receipt and circulation of other documents Other documents that United Nations entities, Governments, non-governmental organizations and business sector entities or other accredited organizations may wish to make available to participants in the Conference are to be provided by the entity concerned in appropriate languages and quantities. Members of United Nations entities should forward two copies of each document they intend to distribute to Ms. Sonia Elliott for screening. Ms. Elliott can also be reached by e-mail at [email protected]. Any material not cleared by the above official will be considered unauthorized and will be removed.

Arrangements for bilateral meetings For bilateral meetings among Member States at the Head of State or Government or ministerial level, eight small temporary booths, each with a capacity to hold a maximum of six participants, will be available in Room Domabache C (Lütfi Kirdar Convention and Exhibition Centre), from today, 9 May, to Friday, 13 May 2011.

Live coverage The Department of Public Information is providing live and on-demand Webcast coverage of the Conference in English and the original language of the speaker. Internet users around the world are able to follow the Conference proceedings by viewing the live webcast coverage and access information such as statements and archived video at . Delegations wishing to have their statements published on the official Conference Web site should send an advance electronic copy to the following e-mail address: [email protected].

Press conferences Daily press briefings by the Spokesperson for the Conference will be held in the Loft, Lüfti Kirdar Convention and Exhibition Centre, at 12 noon. Requests for press conferences should be directed to [email protected].
