Until very recently, I haven't had much to report about our sailing campaign to represent the USA in the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games. In January, we met with Lt. John Pucillo USN EOD, when he came to Miami for a "team tryout". I had made an appeal to the Wounded Warriors Project, explaining that our team had an opening and that we wanted to offer it to a recovering serviceman. I explained the classification system for sailing and requested help to find a leg amputee that was strong and agile. Lt. Pucillo (aka "Pooch") answered the call.
