Principals Corner:

As the holiday break quickly approaches and the hustle and bustle of the season draws near, the spirit of giving is alive and well at OES. Students continue to write affir- mations to one another, create cards for those serving around the world, thank teachers and staff for their hard work and dedication and recognize students with positive refer- rals. Our students are working to give back to the school through decorating for the sea- son, engaging in lessons, working cooperatively in groups and thanking those who have given selflessly to our school from the community. Please continue to encourage your child to do his/her personal best academically and socially. We are capturing hearts and minds at OES. We hope your family has a wonderful winter break and we look forward to greatness in 2020!

Pay $1.00 to wear your PJ’s to school! Every year OES participates in Relay in Life. By par- ticipating in this local event, we are helping to support the American Cancer Society and their goal at finding a cure for cancer. On Fri- day, December 20th, we will kick off our Relay for Life Campaign with teachers and students paying $1.00 to wear their favorite pajamas to school. We would love to have everyone par- ticipate as we show our support to those fighting this disease. PAGE 2
