The list of participants is at Annexure A. The Additional Chief Secretary, Irrigation & Water Resources Department welcomed the Hon’ble Chief Minister Haryana as Chairman, Deputy Chief Minister Haryana as Revenue Minister, Agriculture Minister Haryana, ACS Revenue & Disaster-cum-FCR and other Senior members present in the meeting. All Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioner’s along-with Superintending Engineers & Executive Engineers of Irrigation and Water Resources Department & Public Health Engineering Department, who joined the meeting through Video Conference were also welcomed. The ACS/I&WRD apprised the Chairman that as per practice 50th Meeting of Haryana State Technical Advisory Committee (HSTAC) on 06.01.2021 under the chairmanship of ACS Revenue & Disaster-cum-FCR, wherein all the new proposed schemes as well as ongoing schemes to be carried on for the flood preparedness -2021, were discussed in detail with all the Deputy Commissioners of the State along-with other members the Members and Special Invitees of HSTAC. The recommendation of the HSTAC as per following details was brought to the notice of the Chairman:- i. A scheme for Providing Protection to Aadi Badri Temple from River Somb amounting Rs. 24.72 Lakh proposed Deputy Commissioner, Yamunanagar was added. ii. The scope of scheme at Sr. no. 186 (District Yamunanagar) for providing stone steining for the protection of agricultural land and village abadi of village Mamdubass from River Yamuna has been reduced 250 ft.with the revised cost Rs.12.00 lakh from original cost of Rs.24.02 lakh. iii. The scope/specification of the scheme at sr. no. 46 (District Hisar) for reclamation of land of village Garhi, Bhatol Jattan and Sorkhi was revised from Rs.1300 lakh to 1000 lakh. iv. The scheme for providing 06 no. stone studs and 1000 ft edge protection to protect village abadi and its agriculture land of village Latipur Sahupura Khadar proposed for dropping has been reconsidered with revised scope of 3 stone studs with the cost of Rs.80.00

WHO has advised countries to take a whole-of-government, whole- of-society approach, built around a comprehensive strategy to prevent infections, save lives and minimize impact. In India also, clusters have appeared in multiple States, particularly Kerala, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab, Karnataka, Telangana and UT of Ladakh. 211 districts are now reporting COVID-19 cases and the risk of further spread remains very high. 1.3 Epidemiology Coronaviruses belong to a large family of viruses, some causing illness in people and others that circulate among animals, including camels, cats, bats, etc.
