District – Nuh
Containment Plan for Large Outbreaks Novel Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) District – Nuh Micro-plan for Containing Local Outbreak of COVID-19 1. INTRODUCTION 1.1 Background On 31st December 2019, World Health Organization (WHO) China Country office was informed of cases of pneumonia of unknown etiology detected in Wuhan City, Hubei Province of China. On 7th January 2020, Chinese authorities identified a new strain of Corona virus as causative agent for disease. The virus has been renamed by WHO as SARS-CoV-2 and the disease caused by it as COVID-19. In India, as on 26th February, 2020 three travel related cases were reported (all from Kerala). These three were quarantined and symptomatic treatment provided to all three until five samples turned negative. On 2nd March 2020 two more passengers from Italy and Dubai respectively tested positive for COVID-19. 1.2 Risk Assessment COVID-19 was declared a pandemic by WHO on 11th March, 2020. While earlier the focus of spread was centered on China, it has now shifted to Europe and North America. WHO has advised countries to take a whole-of-government, whole- of-society approach, built around a comprehensive strategy to prevent infections, save lives and minimize impact. In India also, clusters have appeared in multiple States, particularly Kerala, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab, Karnataka, Telangana and UT of Ladakh. 211 districts are now reporting COVID-19 cases and the risk of further spread remains very high. 1.3 Epidemiology Coronaviruses belong to a large family of viruses, some causing illness in people and others that circulate among animals, including camels, cats, bats, etc. -

Pharmacovigilance & Clinical Trials
Jyoti Dahiya, J Pharmacovigilance 2014, 2:5 http://dx.doi.org/10.4172/2329-6887.S1.014 3rd International Conference and Exhibition on Pharmacovigilance & Clinical Trials October 27-29, 2014 Hyderabad International Convention Centre, India Pharmacovigilance: A contemporary view Jyoti Dahiya Baba Mastnath University, India harmacovigilance deals with the study of detection, assessment, understanding and prevention of adverse reactions to medicines (i.e. Adverse Drug Reactions or ADRs). As per WHO norms ADR is response of a drug which is noxious and unintended,P and which occurs at doses normally used in humans for the prophylaxis, diagnosis, or therapy of disease, or for the modification of physiological function. The vital ambition of this activity is to improve the safer and rational use of medicines and improving patient safety care and public health. Pharmacovigilance is needed to establish various mechanisms to detect and combat fake medicine present in market. The Pharmacovigilance program was started in 1968 by WHO. WHO had taken initiative to assure that there is never a repeat of phocomelic tragedy of thalidomide. Thalidomide is drug of choice used by pregnant lady for morning sickness. In past few years it was not mandatory for pharmaceutical industries to have a Pharmacovigilance system, as markets experience was used by companies to assess safety parameters and to perform counteractive action. By means of forthcoming new patent regime in Indian pharmaceutical industries, India can no longer copy patented products and market them without license from Innovator Company. Therefore the importance of properly designed Pharmacovigilance system for pharmaceutical industry is required now days and more Pharmacovigilance centers should be established; preferably in medical colleges. -
ANSWERED ON:10.08.2005 WAITING LIST for TELEPHONE CONNECTIONS in HARYANA Bishnoi Shri Kuldeep
GOVERNMENT OF INDIA COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY LOK SABHA UNSTARRED QUESTION NO:2673 ANSWERED ON:10.08.2005 WAITING LIST FOR TELEPHONE CONNECTIONS IN HARYANA Bishnoi Shri Kuldeep Will the Minister of COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY be pleased to state: (a) whether the Government is aware that there are a number of people in Bhiwani and Hisar Telecom Circles of Haryana who are awaiting telephone connections for several years; (b) if so, the number of wait listed persons for telephone connections in various exchanges of Bhiwani and Hisar Telecom Circles, exchange-wise; (c) the reasons for the inordinate delay in providing telephone connections in the above circles; and (d) the fresh steps taken/being taken by the Government in this regard? Answer THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (DR. SHAKEEL AHMAD) (a) Yes, Sir. (b) Exchange-wise details of waitlisted persons for telephone connections of Bhiwani and Hisar revenue districts, as on 31- 07-2005 are given in Annexure-I and II respectively. (c) In most of urban areas in these districts, telephones are available on demand from BSNL. In some rural areas however, the scattered demand has not been met by BSNL owing to non- availability of telecom network in far-flung areas where such demand exists. Most of the waiting list in rural areas is from such far-flung scattered areas where laying of telecom network is techno- commercially not feasible. (d) Since most of the waiting list is in the rural remote areas, certain steps have been taken by BSNL to make available telecom network in such areas: (i) Large scale deployment of WLL network in rural areas to substitute the landline network. -

Email- [email protected] [email protected] Mob: 09443140817 (Ph:0172-2228306, 9316131598) Purchase of ACEMU, DEMU & MEMU Coaches from non‐Railway companies by sparing Intellectual properties of ICF/RCF free of Cost Preliminary report by K.V.RAMESH, JGS/IRTSA & Staff Council Member/Supervisory – Shell/ICF 1 Part‐A Anticipated requirement of rolling stock during XII th Five Year Plan & Production units of Indian Railways. 2 Measurers to upgrade the requirement & quality of passenger services during the 12th Plan (2012‐13 to 2016‐17) Enhancing accommodation in trains: Augmenting the load of existing services with popular timings and on popular routes to 24/26 coaches would help generating additional capacity and availability of additional berths/seats for the travelling public. Enhancing speed of trains: At present, speed of trains of Mail/Express trains is below 55 kmph. These are low as per international standards. Segregation of freight and passenger traffic, enhancing the sectional speeds, and rationalization of stoppages are important measures for speed enhancement. The speed of especially the passenger trains is quite low at present primarily because of the coaching stock in use and due to multiplicity of stoppages enroute. There is scope for speeding up of these services by replacing trains with conventional stock by fast moving EMUs/MEMUs/DEMUs. Enhancing the sectional speeds is another enabling factor in speeding them.
