The Conference is a forum for academics focused on the crucial chal- lenges faced by technologies in learning and education in today’s world, bringing together local and global perspectives. It is an event that con- tributes to the exchange of ideas and good practices by promoting dis- ciplinary, national, cultural, ethnic, and linguistic diversity. The Interna- tional Conference on Technologies in Education is an itinerant event held annually in universities of the world’s major cities, in the five continents. In 2019 the congress was held at Université Paris Diderot (Paris, France), in 2014 at the Pacific University in Forest Grove (Oregon, USA) and in 2013 at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - UNED (Madrid, Spain). Besides the organization of the International Conference on Technol- ogies in Education, we also publish congress attendees’ selected papers in www.journals.epistemopolis.org, and that is why we encourage all participants to submit a paper based on their presentation so it can be peer-reviewed and, in case of being accepted, it will be published in the corresponding journal. We also organize congresses and publish journals in other areas of knowledge of interest to the intellectual sphere, such as humanities, social sciences, arts, visual culture and technology, to name just a few. Our goal is to create new ways of interaction between these communities of knowl- edge where researchers can meet face to face and, later on, stay virtually in touch making the most out of the digital media access. We are also committed to creating a more inclusive, open, and reliable review process. We want to thank the Universidad Tecmilenio for all their help to make this congress an opportunity to boost the values of investigation, cooper- ation, and knowledge dissemination. We also want to thank everyone who has worked in the organization of the Conference on Technologies in Education: Abina Cohen, Meghana Datta, Raquel Jiménez, Breixo Lousada, Larissa Nogueira, Ana Quin- tana, Laura Sousa, and as well as the rest of the center administration and services staff for all the effort to make this congress a success. 5 IV CONGRESO INTERNACIONAL DE TECNOLOGÍAS EN LA EDUCACIÓN| 26-27 MARZO 2020 We wish you all the best in this congress and hope it will give you the opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues, professors, researchers, and professionals. It provides an ideal channel for the exchange of knowledge and covers the following subjects: social aspects of education; educational methodologies; educational levels and their cur- ricula; leadership and management of educational centers; science, tech- nology, and innovation in education; continuing education and professional training; psychology of education and learning. The journal publishes papers written in an accurate academic format, from both theoretical and practical points of view, with a prescriptive and descrip- tive approach, including texts of evaluative practices and the aftermath of those practices. We welcome, particularly, papers that present the state of the art of some specific field as well as papers that propose methodological pre- scriptions. The journal is peer reviewed and accepts papers written in English. The journal is issued every six months. This means we publish two issues per volume. However, to give an easier access to the content, papers are constantly published online on our platform: www.journals.epistemopolis.org
