Det vil sige i sammenhænge, der rækker ud over privat brug. Indtægterne kommer fra musik spillet på cafeer og restauranter, til koncerter og offentlige events, Direktørens beretning 8 samt på tv, radio og streamingtjenester i Danmark, samt fra brugen af Koda-medlemmers musik i udlandet. Alle indtægterne går til de rettighedshavere, hvis musik har generet indtægterne efter et fradrag på godt 10 procent til administration.
