The qualification for Chief Engineer is “Chief’s Ticket” Engine colloquially called a
CHIEF ENGINEER The Engine department is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of the 2ND ENGINEER 3RD ENGINEER 4TH ENGINEER ELECTRICIAN propulsion systems and the support systems for crew, 5TH ENGINEER passengers, and cargo. It is also responsible for repairing JR ENGINEER and daily maintenance of the ship's machinery. CADET ENGINEER

Steward Safety First!
