The worldwide growth of this particular industry is due primarily to the deregulation and liberalization of the market in many export countries, to the new preference of consumers for fresh, healthy, and natural products, and, most importantly, to the preference of consumers to have products available year- round instead of only seasonally. All of this is currently possible thanks to the current development of the so-called cold chain. The logistics, tracking, packaging, containers and state-of-the-art reservation systems can deliver perishable products in record times while ensuring that they are always perfectly preserved and still able for markets. Typical products that require this type of supply chain, in addition to fruit and vegetables, are pharmaceuticals, sea-related products, meat, cereals, milk and frozen goods. These are all goods, which are capable of deteriorating over time or after exposure to adverse temperature, humidity, or other environmental conditions. Protecting these valuable assets with proven, precise, and strict temperature control can save companies millions of dollars in lost inventory. For this reason, more than 50% of the producers of perishable goods prefer to contract the process of delivery externally from specific transport companies. In this paper, the design of a maritime container depot logistic network in a hinterland is studied. Containers are a basic tool in multimodal product transportation and all related operations have an impact on the environment due to different externalities such as noise, atmospheric and visual pollution. A three objective optimization model is used to minimize the total network cost, the environmental impact generated by the road transport operations associ- ated with the depots (TI) and the environmental impact generated by the setting up and maintenance of the depots (FI). To determine the environmental impacts of each depot, Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (F-AHP) is used in both cases. In addition, a fuzzy multiobjective optimization approach has been used to solve the problem. The applica- tion case study is based on the Port of Valencia (Spain).     Customs Controls for IPR purposes Antonio Lloret, Customs and Excise Department of the Spanish Central Tax Authority HO CHI MINH CITY | 19 Oct 2018 1.1 Operation “RENACER” March – April 2015 - Customs officers from the Risk Analysis Unit in the port of Algeciras seized 309,416 counterfeit items with an estimated value of 17,5 million Euros. The electronic processing and analysis of entry summary declarations revealed inconsistencies in the data provided regarding certain shipments. This analysis was based on the pre- established risk profiles. The Risk Analysis Unit requested then bills of lading. The examination of these documents confirmed the detected inconsistencies. In addition, the routes for the shipments were unusual. As a result, the Risk Analysis Unit carried out exhaustive physical checks on 11 containers shipped from Yantian (China) to Morocco and Senegal (goods in transit) and to Spain. After opening the containers, the illegal goods were found concealed behind a first rows of legal products. Main products seized : 1.2 Operation “RENACER II” December 2015 – January 2016.- The Risk Analysis Unit of Algeciras seized 177,227 counterfeit goods with an estimated value of 9,030,898 euros.
