YOUR CITY WASTEWATER SERVICE FEES AT WORK IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD
Z18B Imperial Highway and Avalon Boulevard Sewer Rehabilitation Project
Project Background The City of Los Angeles Department of Public Works will soon begin construction of a sewer project in your neighborhood. The project will include a number of improvements that will make your sewers more reliable for decades to come.
The project will prevent additional structural deterioration to sewer pipelines. These sewers are important because they carry wastewater to the Hyperion Water Reclamation Plant in Playa del Rey, where the wastewater is treated to a high quality before being released into the Santa Monica Bay.
