Alfie Moore is the writer and star of five sell-out Edinburgh Fringe shows and two series of the primetime Radio 4 comedy It’s A Fair Cop. Now an experienced comedy performer, Alfie is also a qualified detective with extensive experience as an investigator. After serving Lincolnshire police during the 80s, Alfie took 6 years out to start an engineering business and follow his aspirations to become a professional snooker player. Currently on sabbatical, he has until July 2016 to decide whether to resume his police career or continue with his professional comedy career.

RADIO

2015 It’s a Fair Cop Wrote and presented two series of the prime-time comedy show for BBC Radio 4, which attracted 1.4 million listeners per episode. Third series under consideration.

2013 Life: An Idiot’s Guide to… Crime and Punishment Guest on the Radio 4 stand-up comedy programme, presented by Stephen K Amos

2011- Present Guest on various radio discussion and comedy programmes including Loose Ends (BBC R4), Midweek (BBC R4), Jeremy Vine Show (BBC R2), Richard Bacon Show (BBC 5 Live).

STANDUP

2015 A Fair Cop Stands Up Created and performed sell-out comedy show for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival Nominated for Best Comedy at the Buxton Festival

2014 The Naked Stun Created and performed sell-out comedy show for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, which subsequently toured nationally and internationally.

2010- 2014 Solo Comedy Show Four national tours with solo comedy show – promoted by Mick Perrin Worldwide

2012 - 2015 Supported comedians , Sarah Millican, and Milton Jones at various stand-up shows.

2011- Present Performs as humorous speaker and/or host at awards events, conferences and professional dinners for various businesses.

TELEVISION

2016 Entitled Sitcom. Script co-written with Joe Tucker and Lloyd Woolf. In Development at Big Talk.

2014 Show Me the Funny Finalist on the ITV television show, hosted by Jason Manford, which searched for the next comedy star. Subsequently signed by Phil McIntyre Entertainments.

2012 - 2015 Guest appearances on numerous TV programmes, including 3 episodes of Sky Sunrise, repeat guest on The Wright Stuff, appearances on Confessions of a Copper documentary (C4) and Bizarre Crime (BBC 3).
