Many people from Cocogyun saved their life by their traditional habit. On every Full moon day, due to the increasing tidal wave, nobody went to the sea and do fishing. Fortunately, 26 December is Full moon day and everybody was in their home. So their lives were saved by their habit. This is one thing. • 2nd things was seismic gap or end point of subduction zone is near Cocogyun. • 3rd point, water level was unexpectedly reduced lowering down to (6)ft. from normal level.
