Mull Theatre THE ELECTRIFYING MR JOHNSTON & BITE SIZE By Robert Dawson Scott A story of power, and the struggle for it. Join us for this world premiere new play about one of Scotland’s great unsung heroes - Tom Johnston. Once described by Churchill as the ‘King of Scotland', the play focuses on Johnston’s struggles to bring light to the glens. Through incredible feats of engineering and political manoeuvring, he sought to transform the lives of everyone in the north of Scotland by bringing hydroelectric power to the Highlands and Islands. BITE-SIZE: informal script in hand readings of new plays and works in progress. Readings, encounters, questions and answers, feedback and chat offer the chance to be part of the fun of the creative process. Reproduction of the Tom Johnston portrait by kind permission of Scottish Friendly Assurance.

When Mary Morstan arrives at 221B, Baker Street to request help with the mystery of her missing father, Holmes takes the case and together with his companion Dr Watson, enters a murky world of deception and trickery, unravelling a complex plot involving murder, corruption and stolen jewels.
