And now for the first time, the actors are starring side by side in Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood”, which the American director screened on Tuesday to rapturous reviews at the Cannes film festival. Both men have already starred in past Tarantino films-the 55-year-old Pitt in “Inglourious Basterds” and DiCaprio, 44, in “Django Unchained”. The consummate urbanite DiCaprio was born and raised in Los Angeles, the son of New Yorkers. As a pre- teen, he began pushing to do what he loved: act. Pitt on the other hand grew up in rural Missouri in a family of devout Baptists. -
1 Language Skills Worksheet
1 Language Skills worksheet Reading 1 Read about the British actor Daniel Craig. What famous film character does he play? Britain’s Special Secret Agent Life is good now for the British actor Daniel Craig. He is rich and famous. He lives in a fantastic house in London and he owns a luxury apartment in New York. He’s good friends with supermodel Kate Moss and actress Nicole Kidman. He is, of course, James Bond, the word’s most famous spy! Daniel Craig is the sixth actor to play James Bond in the 007 films. He’s also the first actor with fair hair to play the superhero. And a lot of people think he’s amazing in the role. But Daniel wasn’t always so successful. When he was a young actor it wasn’t always easy for him to find any work and for a time he was a waiter in a restaurant. That all changed in 2001 when he became world famous for his role in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider with Angelina Jolie. Since then he has starred in Road to Perdition with Tom Hanks, the British film Layer Cake and Steven Spielberg’s Munich. In late 2005 he signed a contract for three James Bond films. Casino Royale (2006) and Quantum of Solace (2008) were both very successful, but the most successful was Skyfall, which was released in 2012. Spectre (2015) was Daniel’s fourth film as James Bond. In real life, Daniel is quiet and easygoing, and he doesn’t like being famous. He’s a very private man and he’s always cautious when talking about his private life. -

Their making usually reflects a determination on the part of the director or star to see the artist as an alter-ego. Many of them were adaptations of successful literary works, which tempted financial backers by having a ready-made audience based on a pre-established reputation. The sub-genre’s development is explored via the grouping of films with associated themes and the use of case studies. -
Harrison Ford 5 Film Collection
Page 1 HARRISON FORD 5 FILM COLLECTION TM Available on DVD & Bluray from 2nd November Includes: Firewall, 42, Presumed Innocent, Frantic and The Fugitive On November 2nd 2015, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment (WBHE) will release the Harrison Ford 5 Film Collection, three of which are brand new to Bluray. ABOUT THE FILMS 42 (2013) Written and directed by Brian Helgeland (Legend, LA Confidential) this is the inspiring true story of the man who broke the Major League baseball colour barrier, Jackie Robinson, with Ford starring as the man who signed him, Branch Rickey. Firewall (2006) Ford proved he still had what it takes in the action man genre in this dazzling technothriller, starring as a security specialist forced to rob a bank after his family is taken hostage by the dastardly Paul Bettany. Frantic (1988) Directed by Roman Polanski, this superb thriller, a forerunner to the Liam Neeson Taken films, sees Harrison Ford as a doctor whose wife disappears from their hotel room during a trip to Paris. What follows is a nightmarish journey into the underbelly of the city as Ford attempts to find out Page 2 what has happened to her. Presumed Innocent (1990) A sensational nailbiting whodunnit right up to the final scene, this box office smash was based on the bestselling Scott Turow novel, and directed by the great Alan J Pakula (Klute). Ford is a DA who is put in charge of the investigation of his lover’s murder – and finds himself in the frame for the killing. When the film was released it became the ‘don’t reveal the ending’ hit of the year. -
Actors Anonymous of Legion the Watching from Thrill Different a Be Will That Me, for But, Audience
NOTES FROM THE DREAM FACTORY BY TOM ROSTON he first met when they were both in the 2002 Broadway play Burn This. And although we’re talking about Burrell, Norton might as well be speaking about his own brilliant debut in 1996’s Primal Fear, when he, seemingly out of nowhere, rocketed to recognition. “It is a very particular kind of excitement,” he says. “There is no sense of the artifice. That’s what’s really thrilling.” I am always hoping for pure moments when I watch a movie: those times when my disbelief is so entirely suspended that I forget that I’m watching one. Going into a theater, I often feel overwhelmed with baggage—who the main actor slept with last week, how the director mortgaged his house to get the movie made, and how the production designer only used three shades of green on the set. It even bugs me that once I like a director or an actor, I expect something from him or her, and so the work has an added layer of self-consciousness. When the lights go down, it’s hard to wash the slate entirely clean and just watch. That’s why my eyes tend to drift toward the margins for something surprising. And, often, I see it in an actor whom I know nothing about, and who brings something deeper and richer to his character even though he may have just two minutes of screen time. This may seem random (and that’s the point), but do you remember in the Will Smith movie Hitch, which I just caught on DVD, that there’s this misogynist asshole who is, well, such an asshole? Actor Jeffrey Donovan gets it just right. -

Several characters -- mostly recurring supporting players, but also a couple of newly introduced ones -- are killed, mostly via the Killing Curse. The tragedy of Snape's tortured life comes to an end. Live, From New York! And breaking into Gringott's? Go ahead. In Chapter 1 Voldemort uses the killing curse on muggle studies professor Burbage. But because Rickman knew, he told everyone else on set that it absolutely wasn't the case. These aren't three kids any more: They're a year-old hero and his best friends, willing to give up everything to save the wizarding world. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows came out a month after I'd turned They go to Godric's Hollow on Christmas and for the first time Harry sees his parents' grave, plus a magical statue dedicated to them that only wizards can see. Shacklebolt, in the form of a lynx, appears at Bill and Fleur's wedding reception. There are no Quidditch matches in the final novel. The insults "Mudblood" and "blood traitor" -- which are the wizarding world's equivalent of nasty racist terms -- are said several times as well. -
