This particular album was released in 2005, but re released in March for the 5anticipation of their newest "Creepersin Reanimated" Full length. They list themselves as a mixture of rock and horror punk with horror film themes. This album in particular is very simple and plays specifically not as much to the music as it would to the vocals and feel of each track. Simple guitar chords meet bass, drums, and lead vocals with backups from the band. While not minding the quality of music so much, I just cannot get into the vocals from this recording. They sound completely off key in certain spots with the moaning style just tanking the rest of the positive feel from the tracks. To me it honestly sounds like Creep Creepersin's version of Glenn Danzig which fails in comparison. I think it's admirable what Creepersin is doing with their style of music, but this just doesn't do anything for me. I had a tough time finishing this CD even with most songs staying under 3 minutes. If I listened to another release from these guys with a better vocal quality I may find more to enjoy.
I for some reason wish I liked this alot more to give it a better rating. Perhaps I was expecting more of an effort from this that never came. I would recommend the similar bands listed before checking this out.
