Cast Bios

TRICIA HELFER (Olivia Young) – Tricia Helfer stars as Lucifer’s mother, Charlotte, in the current season of “Lucifer,” and is best known to audiences for playing the role of Cylon Number Six in Sci-Fi Channel’s long-running series “Battlestar Gallactica.” Prior to “Lucifer,” Tricia had a recurring role in the TV series “Powers,” starred in the mini-series “,” and played the lead in the Sophia Vergara-produced ABC series, “Killer Women.”

Helfer launched her modeling career at age 17, became an international star for her work in ad campaigns for top designers, and appeared on the covers of numerous fashion magazines. Her TV work includes roles in the hit series “Burn Notice” and “,” as well as “Chuck,” “Lie to Me,” and ’s “Dark Blue,” in which she starred opposite Dylan McDermott. She has guest-starred in episodes of “Suits,” “Key and Peale,” “The Librarians,” “Community,” “Jeremiah” and “Franklin & Bash,” among others.

Tricia starred in the film A Beginner’s Guide to Endings, with Harvey Keitel, Scott Caan, and JK Simmons, and later went on to star in Authors Anonymous with Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting. She will appear next in Isolation, co-starring Luke Malby. In addition to acting, Helfer supports the work of the Humane Society of United States, Best Friends Animal Society, AmFAR, PETA, Kitten Rescue and Richmond Animal Protection Society.

MARC BLUCAS (Scott McGuigan) – Marc Blucas is well known to TV and feature film audiences alike, with bigscreen co-starring roles in the Tom Cruise/Cameron Diaz starrer “Knight and Day,” alongside Eddie Murphy in “Meet Dave,” as James Bonham in “The Alamo” and as 2nd Lt. Henry Herrick in “We Were Soldiers,” with Mel Gibson. Other of the more than 30 films in which Blucas has appeared include “Pleasantville,” “Eddie,” “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back,” “First Daughter,” “Red State” and “Animals.”

Ealier this year, Blucas starred as John Hawkes in the WGN TV series “Underground,” and in 2014 starred opposite “Operation Christmas” co-star Tricia Helfer in the series “Killer Women.” He starred for three seasons as Matthew Donnally in the TV series “Necessary Roughness,” and starred as Riley Rinn in the long-running hit series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” Blucas has guest-starred in episodes of numerous popular series as well, including “House M.D.,” “Notorious,” “Blue Bloods,” “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “Arli$$,” “Castle” and “Clueless.” TV movies in which he has starred include “True Blue,” “See Kate Run” and “The 60’s,” among others.

Blucas played basketball throughout high school and received a full scholarship to Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. Following college, Blucas played for the UK’s Manchester Giants, before giving himself over to acting full-time.

LISA DURUPT (Heather) – Hallmark Mysteries and Movies viewers will instantly recognize Lisa Durupt as Andrea Todd from the four original “Murder She Baked” movies in which she has co-starred with Alison Sweeney. Lisa starred for four seasons in the popular Canadian TV series “Less Than Kind,” and has appeared in episodes of the series “Motive,” “Supernatural,” “Psych” and “Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce.”

Lisa has appeared in a long list of TV movies, including “Run for Your Life,” “Honor Student,” “The Color of Rain,” Hallmark Channel’s “Hitched for the Holidays,” plus “the Pastor’s Wife,” “On Strike for Christmas” and “Everybody’s Doing it.” She has appeared in a number of independent feature films as well, including “Preggoland,” “The Convenient Groom,” “The Movie Out Here” and “The Lazarus Project,” and was a featured dancer in the Richard Gere starrer “Shall We Dance.”

A natural athlete and talented ice hockey player growing up, Lisa began her on-camera performing stunts in series and TV movies, including “Category 7: The End of the World” and “Category 6: Day of Destruction.”
