TEK 3 Regulator Set Apeks has developed unique first stages specifically for use on a twinset. The benefits of this award winning system are: minimized risk of accidental snagging, no hose kinking and easier access to the manifold valves. Each first stage has three medium pressure ports and one high pressure port. They are over-balanced, cold water compatible and extremely robust. TEK 3 looks great too. Not only is the TEK 3 suitable for twinset use but it is equally suitable for single cylinder or stage cylinder configurations offering perfect, snag-free hose positioning.
For those that already own two Apeks regulators and would like to take advantage of the Tek 3 first stages, AP0367-1, TEK 3 SET, FIRST STAGES, includes: a LH Tek 3 first stage and a RH Tek 3 first stage in one box.
Features • The TEK3 utilizes all of the proven technology contained within the Apeks range of first stage regulators • The 1st stages have three medium pressure 3/8” UNF ports and one high pressure 7/16” UNF port. MTX-R The MTX-R is based on the MTX military regulator and is a super tough, rugged, high performance, go anywhere regulator. The MTX-R has excellent cold water performance and has a greatly reduced risk of free flow in extreme environments. This has been achieved by improving several areas, including our innovative endcap solution that solves a long-challenged re- ality for cold-water divers of first stage freeze up. XTX Regulators The Apeks XTX range of regulators has a reputation for quality, performance and features. From the high-end XTX 200 to the entry level XTX40, you will breathe easy and with great confidence. Each XTX model has something unique and special to offer but there are many features found throughout the entire line up. Features • The pneumatically-balanced 2nd stages provide left / right reversibility so you can customize your rig to suit your needs • Diver Changeable Exhaust (DCE) System allows for different length exhaust tees. • Braided flexi hoses are now standard on all models. These hoses are lighter weight, more flexible and more durable • Following on the success of the anti-bacterial mouthpiece, anti-bacterial additive has now been molded into most second stage components. This is especially useful with shared equipment by providing added protection against bacteria • The purge buttons are now larger and easier to operate. A 2-stage progressive purge is used. Press the purge on the side for a lower flow rate, useful where more control is required such as filling lift bags etc, then press in the center for the full effect of the purge, i.e. when regulator clearing etc • A larger venturi lever has been added with a soft touch rubber grip, which makes it easier to locate and use • Compatible to EAN40 when new, straight out of the box
XTX200 The XTX 200 is the flagship of the Apeks Regulator range and the definitive blend of style and high performance. Every detail has been carefully designed to offer a high quality piece of equipment.
Features • Uses the proven “FSR” type first stage • Features a bright chrome finish • All medium pressure ports are 3/8” so that the reversible XTX second stage can mount to either side of the first stage • The over-balancing feature allows the medium pressure air in the hose to increase at a rate faster than ambient pressure resulting in superior performance • Comes standard with an environmental dry kit which keeps water and contaminants out as well as makes the model more resistant to freezing • Compatible to EAN 40, new, out of the box • Although shipped in a standard right-hand configuration, this second stage can be reversed into a left-hand configuration by an Authorized Apeks Technician • Features the Diver Changeable Exhaust (DCE) System. XTX50 The XTX50 Regulator is for the diver who wants the benefits of a feature-rich regulator at a reasonable price.
Features • This popular first stage has four medium-pressure ports all mounted on a rotating turret. This results in optimal hose routing while eliminating sharp bends in the hose • The first stage is over-balanced resulting in a higher medium pressure at each depth. Black Ice The Apeks Black Ice is a rugged, weight-integrated, back inflation BC designed with the advanced diver in mind. Despite its heavy duty construction, it provides amazing comfort, fit and stability thanks to its Wrapture harness system. Due to the modular nature of this BC, a custom fit can be achieved through any of the three sizes. The Black Ice is offered in one color only, you guessed it, black. Features Pictured here with • Wrapture harness system – Using patented swivel shoulder buckles and a proprietary, optional knife ultra-thin back plate, the Wrapture provides unsurpassed comfort and stability. Wrapture prevents the BC from “riding-up” on the surface. Out of the water, the Wrapture keeps the cylinder close to your center of gravity and transfers the weight to your hips. The result is the ability to stand up straight with a cylinder that is perfectly vertical • Because of the multiple size settings at the top of the shoulders as well as either side of the waistband, a custom fit can be achieved through any one of 3 sizes • SureLock II Mechanical Weight Release System (patented) – provides a safe, single-pull release. Inserting weight is as simple as insert and “click”. With SureLock, your weights are secure in the BC. Once engaged, the only way to release the weight is to pull on the handle • Dual channel weight pockets in front along with non-ditchable weight pockets in back mean that all sizes can hold up to 42 lbs. WTX Backplate - Steel or Aluminum The backbone of any system - this cleverly designed back plate can be used with the webbed harness or inserted into the WTX Harness.
Features • Offered in either 304 stainless steel or 6061 anodized aluminum alloy • The stainless steel weighs approx 5 lbs (2.2 kg) • The aluminum weighs approx 1 lb 11oz (753g) • 4 each upper and lower slots accommodate nylon cylinder bands so a single cylinder can be strapped directly to the plate. WTX Twin Cylinder Wings A twin cylinder wing that forms a complete ring of air around the cylinders is sometimes referred to as a twin donut. They are not permanently attached to a back plate or harness, rather sandwiched between the back plate the cylinders them- selves. Having a complete ring of air makes the wing very stable without a dramatic shift of air from left to right. Much thought and design work has gone into the Apeks twin cylinder wings. Special attention has gone into the fabrics and hardware selected, the shape of the wing, the water drainage and the construction techniques. When you buy Apeks, rest assured that you are buying the best product available.
The WTX-D60R is a redundant system that contains two bladders inside one outer shell. Both bladders are capable of gen- erating 60 lbs of lift (one at a time).

Single Cylinder Wings (Donuts) Single cylinder wings, often referred to as donuts, are oval shaped air cells or bladders that are not permanently attached to a harness. While single cylinder wings have their origins in the realm of technical diving, they are becoming very popular in the recreational community.
Not only are these single cylinder wings streamlined, but due to their shape being a continuous loop, they are very stable underwater. There is no dramatic shift of air from left to right. Apeks single cylinder wings are a smart design that allows a cylinder to nest deep inside them. These wings mate up nicely to the rest of the Apeks WTX collection of high quality harnesses, plates and accessories. They can be configured in multiple ways to match the type of diving that you do. RK3 HD Fins The RK3 HD fin is the latest in the RK3 range. It is made from a higher density material than the standard RK3, which makes the fin stiffer and heavier and is therefore the ideal fin for dry suit diving. DRY12 The DRY12 is a 12 Liter roll top dry bag that is designed to modularly attach to the Apeks DRY100 & DRY75. The four stain- less steel carabiners on the DRY12 latch to the D-rings on the side of the DRY100.
The DRY75 has four locations to attach multiple DRY12 bags. Three attachment locations are on the sides and front of the DRY75. The fourth is located on the top flap. This increases your DRY75’s packing capacity by 48 liters. It also provides four added dry compartments to your bag.
