Museum of Estonian Architecture is located in an old Rotermann Salt Storage building in the port area. Tallinna Linnamuuseum or the Tallinn City Museum has a collection of 1,54,000 items that connects you with the history of the city. The building dates back to the 14th Century. Estonian Maritime Museum "Museum in Harbor"

Estonian Maritime Museum (founded 1935) is located in the cannon tower, Paks Margareeta (Fat Margaret), forming a part of medieval defense system. The exposition on Estonian maritime history, that of ship- and boat building, ports, navigational aids and lighthouses - is displayed on the four floors of the museum. Eesti Tarbekunsti - Ja Disainimuuseum (ETDM) "Artistic Brilliance!"

The Estonian Museum of Applied Art and Design is located in the Old Town. The museum offers a unique cultural experience showing works by Estonian artists mainly ceramics leather work and tapestries. Formerly St. Nicholas' Church, the Niguliste Museum is a 13th-century Gothic building. It has an outstanding collection of medieval art, some dating back to the 15th Century. There is a collection of baroque and renaissance chandeliers here. It is also home to the famous fragment of Bernt Notke's masterpiece, Dance Macabre (which dates back to the 15th by daneen_vol Century). Adamson-Eric Museum "Works by World-Renowned Estonian Artist"

Adamson-Eric Museum is a part of The Art Museum of Estonia. The museum is situated in the Old Town in a 16th Century building. Works by the famous Estonian artist, Eric Adamson, are on display. On the first floor there are exhibits such as leather and ceramics, whereas the ground floor the art exhibitions take place. Once in a while there are various other by Engin_Akyurt artist exhibitions taking place.

Lording over the charming landscape of Old Tallinn, this imposing canon tower is one of the many medieval jewels of the city. Boasting a sturdy, circular facade topped by a conical roof, this tower is delightfully fringed by lush greenery and landscaped lawns. With its name meaning ‘Peep into the Kitchen’ in English, the aptly-titled tower is enshrouded in a legend by Ivar Leidus which establishes that it once housed soldiers who had a particular penchant of looking into the kitchens of the houses that rested beneath. Having undergone many a restoration work during its heyday, the tower is complete with a network of stairways, cavernous passageways and historic cannon balls which yet sit implanted onto its thick, outer fabric. Having played an integral role in many significant wars that were waged between Estonia and other nations, the tower has been instrumental in being one of the many landmarks which have helped carve out the course of Estonian history. Today, the tower houses an elaborate museum, which, with the help of ancient arms, ammunition and artifacts, duly chronicles the origins of Tallinn, and its legendary history that unfolded therein.

Museum of Occupations "Get Occupied"

The Museum of Occupations covers the Nazi and Soviet occupation of from 1940 to 1991, when Estonia was alternately occupied by the Soviet Union and Germany. There is a small museum shop, where one can purchase mementos and Kistler-Ritso Eesti foundation publications and souvenirs. The museum rooms can be rented for seminars, receptions, by Ivar Leidus presentations, and other get-togethers. The museum also offers select films that can be viewed on a large screen in the museum cinema hall.

If you want to spend your time in a creative environment, Kumu Art Museum is the place for you. The Kumu Art Museum is part of the Eesti Kunstimuuseum (Estonian Art Museum) complex, which encompasses five museums in one. The office of the President of the Republic of Estonia and the Kadriorg Palace are situated in the vicinity of the museum. The by Natja K. building is equipped with a lecture hall, education center and an exhibition hall. Maarjamäe Palace "Estonian History Museum"

Nestled along the shores of the pristine blue Tallinn Bay, the beguiling Maarjamäe Palace is awash in finer nuances of Pseudo-Gothic architecture. Deftly fashioned from limestone, this palace was built in 1874 as a summer abode under the orders of Count Anatoli Orlov-Davydov. Bearing a moving, long-standing history, the palace was later besieged by by Ren12 the Soviet forces in 1940. One of the major highlights of the palace is its lofty tower, which, with its sturdy and imposing scale, watches over the sprawling Pirita Promenade and the sparkling waters of the Baltic Sea. After having undergone remodifications, the palace was established as an arm of the Estonian History Museum in 1987. Today, the museum is home to many exhibits and expositions which chronicle hundreds of layers of history, from the Soviet occupation and the Estonian War of Independence, to the history behind the country’s first republic and modern-day Estonia, hence serving as strong reference points between the nation’s glorious past and its hopeful present. Also located on the castle grounds is a cafe, a play area for kids and the picturesque Maarjamäe Palace Park.
