TeamUp Fantasy AUDL Power Rankings (7/8 - 7/14) https://www.teamupfantasy.com/ 1. Chicago Union The Union have earned the number one spot this week. They are now 5-0 after their win against the Radicals. Chicago's offense has so many weapons and they manage to take smart shots. In their game this past weekend, their defense played better than they have before. If they keep up this level of play they will have a good shot at the title. 2. DC Breeze DC is moving up a spot this week. Last weekend they beat the Empire in impressive fashion. They won by three, but New York scored a couple goals in the final minutes of the game. DC’s offense performed extremely well - as they always do - and their defense managed to get a ton of run through Ds. 3. New York Empire New York is stepping down from their pedestal this week. After being at the top for the first five weeks of the season, the Empire lost to the Breeze. The Empire allowed the Breeze to get too many run through Ds that could have been fixed. The Empire are still a great team and are still scary to face. 4. Raleigh Flyers The Flyers managed to beat the Cannons last week. With that being said, they are staying in the number four spot this week. They have another game against the Cannons next week, which should be another easy win. This team has a lot of potential to make it deep into the playoffs this year. 5. Atlanta Hustle Atlanta did not have a game this week and are staying in the same spot in our rankings. They are still 4-0 and have been playing well. They face a very hot DC Breeze team next week, which should be a fun game to watch. 6. San Diego Growlers The Growlers also did not have a game last weekend and will be staying in the same spot in our rankings. With that being said, they are still at the top of the West division with a 4-1 record. San Diego does not have a game next weekend as well. 7. Dallas Roughnecks The Roughnecks beat the Cascades last weekend by eight points, bringing their record to 3-2, which puts them in a tie for second in the West division. Jay Froude has continued to make highlight plays every week for the Roughnecks. Next week they play the Sol twice. 8. Minnesota Wind Chill Minnesota did not have a game last weekend, but next weekend they have two games. One is against the Union and the other is against the AlleyCats. Their game against the Union should be a tough one, but their game against the AlleyCats is very winnable. 9. Boston Glory Boston is another team that did not have a game last weekend. Ben Sadok has been performing very well and has stepped up when players like Tannor Johnson can’t make the game. They are playing at a high level considering this is their first year in the league. 10. Madison Radicals The Radicals are moving up a spot this week. They kept their game against the Union close last weekend and beat the AlleyCats, bringing their record to a solid 4-3 with some losses to some of the top teams in the league. 11. Austin Sol Austin beat a young Seattle team which is bumping them up a spot. The Sol have managed to beat some very solid teams like the Roughnecks. When their offense is patient and stingy with the disc, they are a tough team to beat. 12. Indianapolis AlleyCats The AlleyCats are moving down two spots this week. Indianapolis is struggling big time; they have moved down at least one spot in each of the last three weeks. Last week they lost by four against the Radicals. This team has still only defeated the Mechanix. 13. Los Angeles Aviators Los Angeles did not have a game last week, which is why their place in our rankings goes unchanged. The Aviators are sitting at 1-4, but have played some very talented teams. They do not have a game next weekend either. Hopefully after a two week break they can start a win streak. 14. Pittsburgh Thunderbirds The Thunderbirds are moving up four spots this week! Last week, they got a huge win against the Phoenix where their defense got a ton of turns, helping secure the W. Next week, they get to rest up for their game against the Flyers on the 17th. 15. San Jose Spiders The San Jose Spiders are moving up this week, but only because the Cascades played terribly last weekend. The Spiders’ next game will be in two weeks against the Roughnecks. 16. Seattle Cascades Seattle will be moving down a spot this week. Last weekend they got stomped by the Roughnecks. This team is young, so there is some hope for their future. If they can get their younger players to commit, they will have some great talent in a couple of years. 17. Philadelphia Phoenix The Phoenix are moving down three spots this week. Last weekend, Philly lost to the Thunderbirds by three, pushing the Phoenix’s record to 2-3. Next week, they will face the Empire, which will be a tough game for them to win. 18. Tampa Bay Cannons The Cannons are moving down a spot this week after getting crushed by the Flyers; they ended up losing by 15. Their offense could not get anything going and made a lot of mental mistakes. Next week, the Cannons will face the Flyers. 19. Detroit Mechanix The Mechanix are still in the last spot in our rankings this week and are now the only team without a win. They did not have a game last week and don’t have a game next week either. The next game they play will be against the Wind Chill on the 17th..
