February 1995 Update of FCC Microwave Assignments now available on Internet

In order to further facilitate public access to Commission radio assignment information, the FCC ; Office of Engineering and Technology (GET) is releasing a new extract of microwave radio assignments on frequencies above 806 MHz contained in the Commission's Master Frequency File (XFS) in the Enhanced Mic-owave Environmental Link File (EMELF) format

EMELF Data Base

The EMELF data set being released was extracted from the Master Frequency File (XFS) on 7 Feoruary 1995.' The EMELF files are available for down loading from the FCC's Anonymous FTP site (ftp.fcc.gov) in the directory 'Vpub/Spectmm_Management/Data/EMELF/x950702/".2 The table below lists the files frcm the February extract and their sizes (un-compressed and compressed). It should be noted that the assignment data is extracted from the XFS data base by underlying data base. The division of the data between files listed below is determined by the file handing capability of the extraction software and computer hardware, and not by the underlying data base or frequency order.

The Commission previously released data extracted on 1 July 1994, see Public Notice, DA94-10 6, dated 20 September 1994. With the addition of this February 1995 data set, the July 1994 data set h is been moved to the directory i'/pub/Spectmm_Management/Data/EMELF/X940701/". A sample data set based on the July 1994 extract is available in the direrctorv "/pub/Spectrum_Management/Data/EMELF/Sample_Data/". 4083 File Name File Size (bytes) Compressed File Size (bytes) \950207.1st 786 — x950207a.dat () 88,185,153 5,129,801 \950207b.dat (zip) 91,159,306 3,609,989 \950207c.dat (zip) 87,630,783 1,897,005 x950207d.dat (zip) 86,843,075 1,916,498 \950207e.dat (zip) 86,625,547 1,883,233 x950207f.dat (zip) 87,103,051 1,941,216 x950207g.dat (zip) 89,009,513 3,449,845 x950207h.dat(zip) 91,010,586 5,185,183 x950207i.dat (zip) 23,057,675 1,630,162 x950207j.dat (zip) 88,856,201 6,302,524 x950207k.dat (zip) 89,218,824 6,531,099 x9502071.dat (zip) 89,218,824 6,531,099 Total: 997,919,324 46,007,654
