RICHARD NORTH PATTERSON TO BE PUBLISHED BY SCRIBNER AND POCKET BOOKS

NEW YORK, September 27, 2010—#1 New York Times best-selling author Richard North Patterson has signed a two-book deal with Scribner and Pocket Books. Susan Moldow, Executive Vice President and Publisher of Scribner concluded the agreement for North American, paperback, electronic, and audio rights with literary agent Frederick Hill. Colin Harrison, Vice President, Senior Editor of Scribner will edit the books, the first of which, The Devil’s Light, will be published in May 2011. Pocket Books will be the paperback publisher of both books which will also be available from Simon & Schuster Audio.
