“We are so impressed with Adelaide Festival Centre as a venue, that we have agreed to hold our weekly breakfast events there every week for the rest of the year. We are proud to hold our events at the Festival Centre and thank the team for their support!”

Ms Bec Murphy, Cancer Council of SA for BNI Corporate Chapter. Banquet Room OUR THEATRES

FESTIVAL THEATRE is the largest proscenium arch theatre in Adelaide, seating close to 2000 people across stalls, dress and grand circle. It is a lyric theatre used for theatrical productions and large concerts, graduation ceremonies, seminars and more. Its huge backstage space makes the stage area one of the largest in the southern hemisphere. It also houses the Silver Jubilee Organ, a remarkable hovering pipe organ built and donated to mark the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.

DUNSTAN PLAYHOUSE is a more intimate venue, seating 590 people across two levels with an excellent view from every seat. From shows to seminars, conferences and product launches, Dunstan Playhouse is a professional and cultured artistic space. It has also been the performance home of State Theatre Company South Australia since 1974.

SPACE THEATRE is an extremely versatile ‘black box’ studio theatre, with no traditional stage or fixed seating. It can be transformed into a theatre in the round, a corner stage setting or a cabaret venue and depending on configuration seats anywhere between 200 to 350 people. From small theatre productions, dance performances, band concerts, long table dinners, cabaret events and DJ set shows this venue is adaptable to almost any function, display or theatre event.

HER MAJESTY’S THEATRE (Grote Street) The most exciting theatre redevelopment in Australia is underway. When it reopens in 2020, Her Majesty’s Theatre will seat 1500 people and feature brand new foyer spaces, facilities, and contemporary bars.

“I just wanted to say thank you again for all your support organising the Open Forum. We have had some excellent feedback about the venue and catering, and I would highly recommend the Festival Centre to anyone. Please also pass on my thanks to your staff for their help on the day, it was very appreciated”.
