In 2014, 169 local events have been detected by the Network and 14 Hungarian earthquakes were felt by the public. The focal parameters and phase readings of the local earthquakes are listed in Chapter 1 of this publication. The type of the events (earthquake or explosion) were determined based on the characteristics of the recordings and the data from the quarry managements.
