I had the opportunity to speak with him before his speech entitled "In Pursuit of Excellence" at Lor* aln County Community College's award-winning Prominent American Series. Heston, owner of such characterizations of Judah Ben-Hur In the Talked 1959 Oscar sweeper Ben-Hur; Moses In DeMllIe's 1956 The Tea Commandments; and perhaps most prominent In my mind, Colonel George Taylor In the Immortal scl-fl opus Planet of the Apes, told me about the state of our culture, George Bush, and gave me a shirtsleeve With sample of Shakespeare (I got to see a live Impromptu performance!).
