BANGALORE-MYSORE-COORG

Bengaluru (also called Bangalore) is the capital of India's southern Karnataka state. The center of India's high-tech industry, the city is also known for its parks and nightlife. Former royal residences include 19th-century Bangalore Palace, modeled after England’s Windsor Castle, and Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, an 18th- century teak structure. Mysore (or Mysuru), a city in India's southwestern Karnataka state, was the capital of the Kingdom of Mysore from 1399 to 1947. In its center is opulent Mysore Palace, seat of the former ruling Wodeyar dynasty. The palace blends Hindu, Islamic, Gothic and Rajput styles. Madikeri is a hill town in southern India. Framed by the Western Ghats mountain range, it’s known for the Raja’s Seat, a simple monument overlooking forests and rice paddies. In the center, the 17th- century Madikeri Fort features 2 stone elephants at the entrance. Nearby, the domed Omkareshwar Temple is dedicated to the Hindu deity Shiva. PROGRAMME:

DAY-01: Bangalore: Start your day. After breakfast leave Bangalore for Mysore. Arrive Mysore and transfer to the hotel. After lunch visit Mysore Palace, Chamundi Hill, Brindavan Gardens. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel at Mysore.

DAY-02: Mysore-Coorg-(120 km 3 hrs. drive approx.) After breakfast leave Mysore for Coorg. Arrive Coorg and transfer to the hotel. After lunch visit Madikeri Fort, Omkareshwar Temple and Raja’s Seat. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel at Coorg.

DAY-03: Coorg Local sightseeing: Early morning trek to coffee plantation. Return back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast visit Dubare Elephant Camp. After lunch visit Abbey waterfalls & Namdroling Monastery (Little Tibet). In the evening leisure time. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Coorg.

DAY-04: Coorg-(95 Kms; 2.30 Hrs.) Nagarhole Wildlife Safari- (90 Kms; 2.30 Hrs) Mysore: After breakfast leave Coorg for Nagarhole Wildlife Sanctuary for Safari. Arrive Nagarhole wildlife Sanctury, after lunch leave for Safari in Nagarhole Wildlife. In the evening leave for Mysore. Arrive Mysore and transfer to the hotel. Dinner overnight stay in the hotel at Mysore. DAY-05: Mysore-Bangalore: After breakfast leave Mysore for Bangalore. Arrive Bangalore visit Hindustan Aerospace Museum (HAL) is India's first aerospace museum located at HAL premises. After lunch. End your Trip.
