Overview & Purpose The Richmond Public Schools (RPS) summer programs are coordinated at the district level, executed at the school level, and customized to meet the needs of our students. The goal of RPS Summer School programs is to prepare students by ensuring they have a strong foundation for the upcoming school year. Summer learning programs play a critical role in the continued support of students at every age in mastering the academic objectives required to be successful as they move to the next grade level.
