Prime Lambs – 1200 The prime lamb market peaked at $145. Many good quality butchers lambs made from $130 - $140. Tops $130 - $145

Prime Ewes – 350 Another steady prime ewe market with the very best prime ewes making up to $115.

Tops $105 - $115 Good $90 - $98

Mediums $80 - $88 Light $70 - $75

Store Lambs – 450

Tidy crossbred store lambs sold from $80 to $90. Very small culls were difficult to sell. Good $85 - $90

Mediums $70 - $83 Light $55 - $65

Breeding Ewes

124 mixed age Composite Ewes run with Suffolk and Texel rams made $140 and 273 A/D Romney Ewes run with Suffolk & Texel Rams made $139. Prime Cattle (per Kg)

Smaller yarding of average quality saw prices up by 5 to 7 cents per kg due to supply now diminishing and demand moving up.

Steers $2.20 - $2.36 Heifers $2.00 - $2.10

Cows $1.20 - $1.60 Bulls (Beef) $2.00 - $2.20

Store Cattle

Smaller yarding of store cattle with the majority being dairy cross which was mixed quality. Good beef cattle had a strong sale.
