Competition Saturday, 25 April 2020 Page 5 of 18 SYDENHAMS FOOTBALL LEAGUE NEWS 2019/20 EDITION NUMBER 43 WHEN ALRESFORD STRUCK GOLD AT THE GOLDSANDS The Programme collection this week has thrown up a Cup Final and a game that will always take a pride of place in the Annals of Alresford Town Football Club and hold a significant place in the history of the Wessex League. The Hampshire Senior Cup is a Trophy that is normally out of the reach of the Sydenhams League because of the number of Clubs in the County that play at a higher level and the occasional involvement of the three Football League Clubs affiliated to the County FA.
