Herzlich willkommen! Er veranstaltet vom 4. bis zum 7. September in Sulzburg einen Beitrag zum Kennenlernen der arabischen Musikkultur. Matthias Wagner hat in Badenweiler die orientalische Musikakademie gegründet und sie auf solide Füße gestellt. I ch freue mich, dass die Musikakademie im Jahr 2014 zum ersten Mal in Sulzburg stattfinden kann und dass sie die Möglichkeit gibt, zusammen mit arabischem Gesang die I nstrumentalität der arabischen Musik kennenzulernen. Es ist das Ziel dieser Sommerakademie den Teilnehmern der verschiedenen Workshops wie auch den Konzertbesuchern einen Einstieg zum besseren Wahrnehmen der arabischen Kultur anzubieten. Mit Hilfe der Dozenten, die bis auf eine Ausnahme arabischer Herkunft und allesamt erfahrene Lehrer sind, ist es ein Ziel dieses Projektes nicht nur im Unterricht zu den einzelnen I nstrumenten sondern auch im gemeinsamen Musizieren diese scheinbar fremde und zugleich immer näher kommende Welt zu erschließen. Vorträge über arabische Kultur im Allgemeinen runden das Projekt ab und geben I nformationen welche geradezu in Zeiten des arabischen Frühlings von besonderem I nteresse sind.
