We had rounds of extensive discussions – with Chief Executive Officer, District Superintendent of Agriculture Officer, Office of the Coir Board Sub Regional Office, District Planning Officer, District Agriculture Produce Market Committee, Assistant Conservator of Forest Department, Assistant Commissioner of Fisheries Department and Associate Director of Research and Development of Regional Fruit Research Station. At Mumbai, the team met the Joint Director, Department of Economics and Statistics and General Manager/Deputy General Manager of Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation, who shared their valuable inputs and also relevant data for the report.
