Together with several “warm-up” events, GlobalPhilly™ 2013 features dozens of activities, events, and resources, each of which reflects a uniquely international dimension of the Greater Philadelphia region. The GlobalPhillyTM 2013 Passport includes 82 detailed event listings, in addition to the Treasure Hunt, information regarding the participating restaurants, sponsors, and Global Philadelphia Association members and membership info. The Addendum is highlighting recently added events, corrections to previously featured events, a list of the entire exhibition’s events by category, the special reveal of each restaurant’s GlobalPhillyTM 2013 appetizer, recognition of new sponsors, partners, and members, and a thank you to our newest volunteers. A musician who straddles the Goth-rock and lo-fi genres incorporating a blend of orchestral instrumentals, ambient electronic sounds and strong diva-esque vocals, Zola Jesus has developed a collaboration with JG Thirlwell, an Australian composer and pioneer of the No Wave and industrial music scenes. Help IHP, Philadephia’s premier resource for film, continue its tradition of avant-garde and culturally exploratory programming by attending its first arts program benefit.
